2012 Subaru Tribeca Seating: 7
The 2012 Subaru Tribeca is a conveniently priced 7 passenger SUV with great features that will please any and every family. It has three rows of seating that allows for up to 7 people in the car and has safety features with every single passenger in mind.
Tribeca’s Antilock Braking System, which comes standard on every Tribeca, prevents wheel lock-up and helps maintain driver control. Braking is balanced with the Electronic Brake-force distribution, while Brake Assist applies a full braking force to help stop faster in panic situations. Front, front seat-side and side-curtain airbags make for a total of six airbags in the Tribeca. There’s an array of sensors to help the airbags deploy in the most effective way possible. The ring-shaped reinforcement frame is made out of high-tensile strength steel, which helps direct impact energy around the passenger compartment rather than through it.
While some of the highest technology has been applied to the safety features of the 2012 Subaru Tribeca, it has also been applied to the interiors as well. Bluetooth Hands-free connectivity that allows you to safely talk while on the road and do many other tasks is a part of the premium audio and navigation systems. A rear-vision camera is available in some models of the Tribeca that makes backing up a cinch. Depending on the car model, you’ll either have a 3.5-inch display located in the rearview mirror or a 7-inch in-dash display if you upgrade to the optional navigation system. A 9-inch rear-seat DVD entertainment system is a great upgrade available with the Tribeca. It comes with two wireless headsets, a wireless remote and inputs for game consoles, video cameras and other multimedia devices.
Interior comfort was definitely considered when designing the Tribeca. An 8-way adjustable power driver’s seat and 4-way power front passenger seat that both feature manual adjustable lumbar support comes standard in every model of the Tribeca. Other added features include ambient interior lighting, leather-trimmed upholstery and a power moonroof. Also, the second row of seats recline and can slide nearly eight inches forward and backward, which is not a common feature in today’s SUVs.
